JOSEPH
E. MARTIN retired as a Lieutenant with the Washoe County Sheriff's Office in Reno, Nevada after 25 years. His experience included assignment as the Commander of SWAT & Security Services, Sheriff's Office Academy Commander, and various other assignments. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia . He has attended extensive specialized training in Protection of Public Officials, Terrorism, and related subjects provided by the FBI and the United States Secret Service. Martin is a published author. He is the Director of Personal Security Services.
RICHARD
L. ROSS retired as a Captain from the Washoe County Sheriff's Office in Reno, Nevada with 22 years of service. His experience is varied and includes assignments in Patrol, Investigations, Detention, and Administration. He has extensive experience in the administration of narcotics investigations, and undercover operations. He is trained in SWAT and certified in Protection of Public Officials and Terrorism. He has served as a member of Missing and Exploited Children's Comprehensive Action Program and has received several service awards.
CHARLES E. PIERSON received his Law Enforcement training from Lake Tahoe Community College. He has worked in the Security industry in the Reno/Sparks area for 10 years, specializing in Apartment/Residential Communities and Construction Security. As the Director of Security for Martin-Ross and Associates, Charles has brought experience and an aptitude for excellence to the professional mindset of our business in security.
THOMAS
H. COLEMAN, a Stanford and UCLA graduate, is a practicing lawyer who began his career 37 years ago with the United States Department of Justice. Since leaving the Justice Department, Tom's law practice has focused on fraud investigations and litigation. He is a well-known and respected author and lecturer on such topics as detecting fraud and embezzlement, finding hidden assets, and corporate corruption. In addition to practicing law, Tom has many times served as a receiver or trustee in court enforcement proceedings brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission or the California Department of Corporations against issuers of fraudulent or illegal securities. He resides in the Los Angeles area and is a principal in our Personal Security Services and the local personal security liaison.
